Dear Folks,
May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. Despite it all, we have so much for which to be thankful!
This Sunday, November 29, is the First Sunday in Advent. The scripture is Isaiah 64:1-9. The sermon is "Hope & Clay".
Please reserve your seat for Sunday worship by emailing the office at hcc@snet.net by Thursday. If you normally attend and are not planning to, please also notify the office. Please, if you are traveling or if you are hosting a gathering of people in your home who are not in your everyday social bubble, please considering staying home and watching the service via live-stream. It's up to all of us to keep each other safe! Thank you!
The service will be live-streamed on Facebook. It will also be posted on Facebook and YouTube later.
Thank you to everyone who donated toward the Women’s Fellowship Homeless Bags Project. The response was overwhelming, so they are no longer taking donations at this time. Your generosity is such a blessing!
There will be an electronic Congregation Meeting via ZOOM for all members of the Huntington Congregational Church UCC following worship service on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. for the purpose to present the proposed budget for the 2021 fiscal year. Watch your email for the ZOOM link.
Our Longest Night Service will be held on Monday, December 21 at 6:30 P.M. We will be in person (at this point) and live-streamed on Facebook. If you plan on being in person, please reserve your seat by Friday, December 18 by emailing Karen at hcc@snet.net.
If you have not returned your Faith Promise/Pledge card yet, please do so ASAP. Thank to you all who have already! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions. Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. The GIVEPLUS app can be downloaded on your cell phone. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. However you choose to give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
I am very grateful for all of you, your support, your love, and your faithfulness. You are blessings!
Let us pray. O God, words are never enough to express our thanks to you, but, thank you! May our gratitude show in our words, actions, and deeds, reflecting your love and generosity to the world. Amen.
In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
