This Week May 25, 2021

 Dear Folks,

May you enjoy the day!
This Sunday, May 30, is Trinity Sunday. One of our Deacons, Dan Oliva, will be sharing his message. You can view the service at: https://www.facebook.com/HCCUCC.
Please have your reservations for worship in by noon WEDNESDAY.
On June 6, we will be foregoing reservations and assigned seating for worship.
The Strengthen the Church offering supports the expansion of ministry and growth of UCC local congregations. Support of this offering will help the UCC fulfill its commitment to creating a just world for all by investing in new ministries and practices that meet the needs of local communities. The Southern New England Conference of the UCC’s share of this offering goes to support Silver Lake Conference Center, Youth and Young Adult Ministries, and Faith Formation. The offering date is June 6.
The Women’s Fellowship Tag Sale is planned for June 12 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with a rain date of June 19. Spaces are available for a $20 donation and are open to the public. This year, due to Covid, we will be spaced apart and tables from Fellowship Hall will not be available. We have plenty of room, no one will be turned away! As always, there will be a church table with items donated by our parishioners. If you have items to donate, call Denise Wilson first; do not bring them to church yet. Masks must be worn that day. We would like to have a bake table and all items must be wrapped in clear plastic. Donations of bottled water to sell are appreciated! Questions? call or text Denise Wilson.
The Men’s Group is looking for volunteers to help the day before the Tag Sale (Friday, June 11) at 3:00 p.m. We will be moving tag sale items from Reuman House to the area outside of RH so it doesn’t have to be done Saturday morning. Please text Steve Wilson. Thanks!
Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions. Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. The GIVEPLUS app can be downloaded on your cell phone. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
Let us prayer. Holy God, open our eyes to the beauty of your creation, the beauty of all your people. Wipe away any trace of arrogance and fill us with a love for all your creation, all your people. Amen.
In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
