This Week February 9

Dear Folks,

With all this snow, some people have been saying that the groundhog lied.  But, Phil predicted an early Spring.  He didn't predict what would happen before that early Spring! Cut the rodent some slack!

The ecumenical Ash Wednesday service will be held at 7 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church on Rocky Rest Road and Long Hill Avenue.

This coming Sunday, February 14th., is Women's Fellowship Sunday.  We will be installing the WF officers.  The scripture is Luke 4:1-13.  The sermon is "Never Alone".

It's also Valentine's Day, so make sure to share the love!!  Of course, we should be doing that everyday, in a kind and Christian way!

HCCUCC will be hosting a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator Training on Sunday, February 21 following our 9:30 a.m. worship service. The cost will be $10. Please sign up in the Alcove or contact the church office at 203-929-1223 if you are interested in attending.
