This Week May 18

 Dear Folks,

Blessed day to you!
This Sunday, May 23, is Pentecost. The scripture is Acts 2:1-21. The sermon is “Glorious”. The service will be live streamed on Facebook and saved on Facebook and YouTube for later viewing. Wear red wherever you are!
Just a reminder that reservation for Sunday worship in person are due by noon on Thursdays for May 23 & 30. We will cease reservations and assigned seats on June 6.
The Women’s Fellowship Tag Sale is planned for June 12 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with a rain date of June 19. Spaces are available for a $20 donation and are open to the public. This year, due to Covid, we will be spaced apart and tables from Fellowship Hall will not be available. We have plenty of room, no one will be turned away! As always, there will be a church table with items donated by our parishioners. If you have items to donate, call Denise Wilson first; do not bring them to church yet. Masks must be worn that day. We would like to have a bake table and all items must be wrapped in clear plastic. Donations of bottled water to sell are appreciated! Questions? call or text Denise Wilson.
The Men’s Group is looking for volunteers to help the day before the Tag Sale (Friday, June 11) at 3:00 p.m. We will be moving tag sale items from Reuman House to the area outside of RH so it doesn’t have to be done Saturday morning. Please text Steve Wilson if you can help. Thanks!
Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions. Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. The GIVEPLUS app can be downloaded on your cell phone. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
Let us pray. O God, as we prepare to commemorate Pentecost, help us to open our hearts to the movement of your Spirit today. Amen.
In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
