Women’s Fellowship is collecting items for a "Care Box". They will be making up care packages for any
church member who may be hospitalized, in a nursing home, or homebound due to their medical
treatments. Ideas for the box might be:  puzzle books, decks of cards, creams/lotions, lip balms, note cards,
warm socks/booties, hard candies, small tissue packs, magazines, small baskets or tote bags to put the
items in, candy (to offer their visitors), kerchief/scarf, inspirational card, etc.  Please put the items in the
large pink box in the Alcove. There is no deadline. Thank you!

Women's Fellowship will once again be offering the annual Lenten Quiet Hour beginning Wednesdays,
February 26 through April 1. April 8 is a snow day make up, if needed.  The book is "The Way of
Forgiveness: Readings for a Peaceful Life".  Watch for sign-up sheet in the Alcove. This is open to all.

Membership Dues for Southern New England Conference and Fairfield East Association: For 2020, each
member is asked to contribute $12. The Deadline is March 1st.  You may place your dues contribution in the
offering plate OR by On Line Giving available at HCCUCC. If you need a convenient way to make regular
offerings or for additional gifts, we encourage you to check out our electronic giving options.
Visit huntingtonucc.org or contact the church office for more information.

Spooner House Meal envelopes are located in the sanctuary pews for anyone who would like to donate
towards the monthly meals.

Registration is now open for Huntington Center Nursery School 3 & 4 yr. old 2020-2021 school year.
Registration forms can be found on the HCNS bulletin board in the alcove or contact our Director,
Linda Rizzitelli at 203-929-7197.

Please take note of the poster in the Alcove with suggested items for the Valley Food Bank bin in
Fellowship Hall. Of course, all items are gratefully accepted, but the Missions Committee put together a
list that attempts to target items that may be needed more during certain seasons or months.
The need is great, so please be generous!

Holy God of Love and Light, may you guide our steps as we face the unknowns of our lives.
May we trust that no matter what, we are eternally in your care.  Amen.

In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
