Dear Folks,

Hope you are well and safe and mostly dug out!

The sermon is "The Way of Our Journey". The service will be live streamed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/HCCUCC and will be available for viewing on Facebook and YouTube later on Sunday.
New Members’ Class will be held following worship Sunday, March 8 in the library.
Our next “Lessons in the Wilderness” will be held Thursday, February 26 at First United Methodist Church Rocky Rest and Long Hill Road. Dinner will be at 6 P.M. followed by a program at 7 P.M. Please give generously.
The Valley Food Bank at Spooner House – March’s giving focus is canned tomatoes, rice, sugar, and feminine hygiene products. Please use the box in the Alcove for donations. The Blessing Box also needs to be stocked. We are in winter protocol, so please, no items that can freeze! Our Spooner House Meal is on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Questions? See Holly or Gerry Fassbender.
Thank you for everyone who brought in coats for the Women’s Fellowship's Winter Coat Drive for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. March 1 will be the last day for collection, so if you haven't already, please bring new or gently used coats and/or cold weather accessories. Donation box is the Alcove. Share the gift of warmth!
Looking Ahead: April 11 is the Third Annual Shredding Event & Food Collection in the church parking lot from 9 A.M. to Noon, rain or shine. Please save your important papers and documents and bring them on that day. The cost is $10.00 per average box or bag. We cannot dispose of bags or boxes, so you must take them home. Also, no paper clips or metal items can be shredded. We are also collecting non-perishable, non-expired food items for Spooner House. A portion of the proceeds will also go to Spooner House.
Women’s Fellowship is collecting items for CWS Hygiene Kits. See the list in the Alcove near the box for donations. Questions? See Lois Ricker. Thank you!
Funds for Clean-up Buckets Urgently Needed – We are collecting monetary donations for Church World Service clean-up buckets. Please make checks out to HCC with “Buckets” on the memo line, then drop your donation in the bucket on Sundays, or use the on-line option on our website.
