This Week July 21, 2020

Dear Folks,

Prayers continue to rise for healing, justice, and peace in our nation and in our world.

This Sunday, July 26, is the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost. The scripture is Romans 8:26-39. The reflection is "Deep Sigh". This will be another Outdoor Worship in the Taize style in the church's back parking lot. Reservations are required. Just drop me a note on HCCUCC's Facebook page by Thursday, July 23. The Church Street entrance will be closed, so please use the Ripton Road entrance. Thank you!

We are in our Season of Generosity for 2021, "I Am About to Do a New Thing". If any one would like to write or make a video for a Generosity moment, please contact me. Thank you!

Let us pray. O Holy God, in the heat of the summer, we feel the coolness of your breath. In the cold of winter, we feel the warmth of your love. Whatever our situation, you are there. Help us to claim that! Amen.

In Christ's love,

Rev. Lucille
