HCCUCC This Week April 14, 2026

Dear Folks,

A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Women's Fellowship Third Annual Shredding Event and Food Drive.  It was a great success!

Women's Fellowship will be assembling Church World Service School and Health kits on Thursday, April 16, 7 P.M. in the WF rooms in the basement of Fellowship Hall.  Help always welcome as we seek to serve the world!

This coming Sunday, April 19, is the Third Sunday of Easter.  The scripture is Luke 24:13-35.  The sermon is "More Than a Meal".    The service will be live streamed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/HCCUCC and will be available for viewing on Facebook and YouTube later on Sunday.

Our Scout Troop 101 will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, April 19, 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. in our Fellowship Hall. Cost is $20 per adult, $10 for kids up to 12.  Please support our troop!

On Sunday, April 26, our Confirmations Class will be leading the worship that they created.  Please be sure to come and support our youth!  We will also be celebrating Gertrude and Robert Wilson Sunday.

Our 16th Annual Treasures, Talents, and Tastes Auction will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 6 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall.  Check our website more information.

Our annual CWS Blanket offering will be on May 10. Our gifts provide blankets, tents, and emergency supplies in the wake of disaster. Our gifts also provide material assistance, education training and small enterprise loans as part of sustainable development programs. You may donate in person or online via our website: www.huntingtonucc.org. Please give generously to help those in need with a gift of hope.

HCC Annual Community Tag Sale - June 6, 9:00 to 2:00, (rain date June 13).  Space for $20. Check our website for more information.

The Valley Food Bank at Spooner House - April’s focus is canned protein, chili, hash, and beans (can or bag).   Please use the box in the Alcove for donations. The Blessing Box also needs to be stocked. Our Spooner House Meal is on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Questions? See Holly or Gerry Fassbender.

Funds for Clean-up Buckets Urgently Needed – We are collecting monetary donations for Church World Service clean-up buckets. Please make checks out to HCC with “Buckets” on the memo line, then drop your donation in the bucket on Sundays, or use the on-line option on our website.

Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions.  Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
