This Week July 26, 2021

Dear Folks,

May you have a blessed week!

The Vitality Team will be handing out water and the Men's Group are selling hot dogs for the Concerts on Green on Wednesday evenings. Stop by and say hi! Donations of water would be greatly appreciated! Please leave the cases in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you!

This Sunday, August 1 is the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost. Thanks to Deacons Terri Johnston and Gail Schoennagel for leading the service. We will be celebrating Holy Communion. For those in person, please bring your own elements. There will be "Miracle Meals" available. For those virtual, please have your elements handy. At our last Holy Communion, I preconsecrated all the elements, so we're all set!

August 8 is the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost. Our HCCUCC Thanks to Moderator, Sue Schmitt who will be preaching and Deacon Sue Lindley who will be leading. The services will be live-streamed on Facebook at. https://www.facebook.com/HCCUCC . It will be available for viewing on Facebook and YouTube later on Sunday.

We are in our Season of Generosity for 2022. This year's theme is “We Are All a Piece of the Quilt”. If anyone would like to do a live Generosity Moment or make a video, please contact me. Thank you!

Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions. Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. The GIVEPLUS app can be downloaded on your cell phone. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.

Huntington Center Nursery School 3 & 4 yr. old registration is now open. Registration forms can be found on the HCNS bulletin board in the alcove or contact our Director, Linda Rizzitelli at 203-929-7197.

Let us pray. O Holy One, help us to know and feel that where ever we are, you are. Amen.

In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
