Hi Folks,
Keep cool!
Thursday, June 10 is my prayer day. If you have any joys or concerns you would like me to raise up, please let me know.
The Women's Fellowship will be hosting a Community Tag Sale on Saturday, June 12 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with a rain date of June 19. Spaces are available for a $20 donation and are open to the public. This year, due to Covid, we will be spaced apart and tables from Fellowship Hall will not be available. We have plenty of room—no one will be turned away! As always, there will be a church table with items donated by our parishioners. If you have items to donate, Denise Wilson—do not bring them to church yet. Masks must be worn that day. We would like to have a bake table and all items must be wrapped in clear plastic. Donations of bottled water to sell are appreciated! Questions? call or text Denise.
This Sunday, June 13, is the Third Sunday after Pentecost. We will be worshiping outside in the back parking lot. The scripture is Mark 4:26-29. The sermon is "Scatter It Wide". As always, worship is at 9:30 A.M.
The Vitality Team will be handing out water for the Concerts on Green on Wednesday evenings in July and August. Donations of water would be greatly appreciated! Please leave the cases in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you!
Please continue to support HCCUCC with your contributions. Now more than ever, our mission of being the beacon of love and light on the Huntington Green and beyond is vital. Contributions sent in by mail are welcome. Please consider donating at our website, www.huntingtonucc.org. The GIVEPLUS app can be downloaded on your cell phone. Electronic Fund Transfer giving is also available. Please email the church, hcc@snet.net if you would like a form to set that up. Any way you give is a blessing and is greatly appreciated.
Huntington Center Nursery School 3 & 4 yr. old registration is now open. Registration forms can be found on the HCNS bulletin board in the alcove or contact our Director, Linda Rizzitelli at 203-929-7197.
Let us pray. Gracious God, may the power of your Holy Spirit lift us up when our spirits are low, refresh us when we are depleted, and love us when we are feeling unlovable. Amen.
In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
