Dear Folks,
Enjoy the Autumn colors while they last!

This coming Sunday, October 27, is the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost.  The scripture is Luke 18:9-14. The sermon is "O Lord, It's Hard to Be Humble."
Following worship on Sunday, Women’s Fellowship will be presenting a program on Retirement Income Planning. The presenter is Rebecca Miller whose past presentations have been informative and helpful. Feel free to bring a friend! Refreshments will be served. Contact Denise Wilson or Sue Lindley with questions.
The Huntington Center Nursery School Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough & Lyman Orchard Pie fundraiser delivery will be November 1st. You can pick up your order on Sunday, November 3.
The Pumpkin & Holly Fair is coming up on November 22 & 23.  It will be here before we know it! Watch your future bulletins for more information or contact co-chairs: Terri Johnston, Jaqui Olivo, Judy Tucker, and Eva Washenko. Please, no clothing please for Santa's Attic. Please leave clothing in My Sister’s Place bin in Fellowship Hall. Thank you.
Let us pray. O God, as the rain hides the stars, as the autumn mist hides the hills, as the clouds veil the blue of the sky, so the dark happenings of my lot hide the shining of thy face from me. Yet, if I may hold thy hand in the darkness, it is enough, since I know, that though I may stumble in my going, Thou dost not fall. Amen. (Ancient Scottish prayer)
In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
