Dear Folks,
Even if the sun is obscured by the fog, it's still there. It's the same with God. Even if God is obscured by the circumstances of our lives, God is still there.
This coming Sunday, January 13, is the Baptism of Christ. The scripture is Luke 3:1-15. The sermon is "Washed Away".
Following worship, the Women's Fellowship will be holding their Annual Meeting. All women of the church are invited. The purpose of the meeting us to elect board members and to vote on their budget. Along with the fellowship, they will have an activity that they hope will be thought provoking and relaxing. Refreshments will be provided.
It’s not too late to submit your 2019 Pledge Card. Cards can be found on the shelf at the alcove entrance to the Sanctuary. If you have not returned your pledge card, please do so as soon as possible.
THE 295th ANNUAL MEETING OF THE HUNTINGTON CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, UCC WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2019 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING OFFICERS, ACCEPTING THE 2019 BUDGET, AND ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT PROPERLY COMES BEFORE THE MEETING. Let us pray. O Holy One, in your wisdom and strength, may you lead us confidently through the ups and downs of our lives. Help us to trust in your guidance. Help us to be hopeful and faithful. Amen.
