Feel the chill in the air?
It's sweater weather!
This coming Thursday, October 19,
is my prayer day. Please let me know if you have any joys or
concerns you would like me to lift up.
This Sunday is our third Sunday
in our "Season of Generosity". This weeks topic is: "How
how do we find the needs and then help fulfill the needs of our
community?” The scripture lesson is Luke
10:25-37. Bob Margolies will be offering testimony.
Following worship this Sunday,
Women’s Fellowship will sponsor an All Church event on
“Downsizing” by Denise Melsenti Wilson. All are
welcome!
"In Gathering Sunday" will be on
October 29. Please bring your "Faith Promise" (pledge) cards
with you, as well as your completed Electronic Fund Transfer
authorization forms, if you so choose. Later this week, I
will be sending these items out electronically, so you can submit
them via e-mail as well.
It’s coming! The
Pumpkin & Holly Fair will be here before we know it , November
17th & 18th. We need your help to make
this event a success. Please contact the co-chairs: Terri Johnston,
Jaqui Olivo, Judy Tucker, or Justine Connery if you would like to
contribute and/or help in anyway.
Let us pray. O God, our
prayers continue to rise to you for those in harms way: floods,
storms, fires, war, violence, oppression, in justice. May
your peace prevail. Amen.
