Now back to not so out of this world info...

This Sunday's scripture is Luke 13:31-35.  The sermon is "Jerusalem".

Following worship will be the AED CPR training.  Thank you to all who signed up!

This Sunday we will be taking an offering for Master’s Table. Master's Table Community Meals, Inc. provides a safe, clean, uplifting environment for individuals in need. They offer their guests hope for a better future. Every person who comes to for assistance is welcomed regardless of race, sex, age, color, national origin, religious preference, social needs, disability, or income. Master's Table serves the poor, hungry, and the lonely by providing healthy nutritious and appetizing meals to all who come. Free meals are served at the Assumption Church in Ansonia.

The bin from My Sister’s Place is back in Fellowship Hall for you to make your tax deductible donations. It will be there until the end of April. Please fill out the donation form, take your copy and attach or enclose their copy in with your items.

Reminder for Membership Dues – $20 per member for 2015 & 2016. If you have not already done so, you may place your dues contribution in the offering plate OR by On Line Giving available at HCCUCC. If you need a convenient way to make regular offerings or for additional gifts, we encourage you to check out our electronic giving options. As life can be hectic, you may find electronic giving a most welcome way to make contributions. Visit huntingtonucc.org or contact the church office for more information.

HCCUCC will be sharing our space with St. Paul's for an Episcopal Mission conference on March 5 from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.  If you are available, please consider volunteering for an hour or more that day.  We will just be here to give direction or answer any questions about the church building.  There is a sign up sheet in the Alcove.  For more info, contact me.

The 28th Annual Bowl-2-Benefit The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services will be held on Saturday, March 12th at AMF Milford Lanes. If you wish to join our Team or would like to make a donation, please see Judy Tucker, Gordon Harris or me.  You can also make a donation at

Let us pray.  O God, as we travel the path through the Lenten days of reflection, repentance, and renewal, may we feel your accompanying presence, offering us courage, wisdom, strength, and love.  Amen.

Peace,
Rev. Lucille
