Dear Folks,
Looks like we are getting much needed rain today! Makes the flowers grow!

This Thursday, May 7, is the deadline for donation for our The 7th Annual Treasures, Talents and Tastes Auction. But, there is still time to register to attend, It's on Saturday, May 16th, 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please contact Linda or Bob Sember at 203-929-5853 for more information.

May 10, Sunday's scripture is John 15: 9-17. The sermon is "Chosen". We will be celebrating the baptism of Hunter Thomas Goldspink. We will also be receiving the Church World Service Blankets and Tools Offering, formerly know as the Olive Odell Memorial Blanket Appeal.

Sunday is also Mother's Day. We give thanks to all our mothers and all who have been like mothers to us.

Instead of a prayer to end this missive, I would like to share this quote:
May the sun bring you new energy by day,
may the moon softly restore you by night,
may the rain wash away your worries,
may the breeze blow new strength into your being.
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.
- Apache Blessing

In Christ's love,
Rev. Lucille
